Boy arrested after police pursuit
A 16 year old Newcastle boy has been arrested by Manning Great Lakes police following reports of a stolen car.

The boy allegedly stole a vehicle overnight in the Newcastle area before being spotted in Old Bar.
Highway patrol and Manning Great Lakes police located the vehicle this morning and gave chase before arresting the boy in the Killawark State Forest.
The boy is assisting police with their inquiries and will face Forster Children’s Court today.
