Tuncurry the venue for southern pre-season finale

TWO fields will be in used at Tuncurry on Saturday for the second round of the Group Three Rugby League pre-season.

Games scheduled for Kempsey and Wingham last weekend were abandoned due to the wet weather. Winners and losers for the second round were determined by a draw from the hat.

Taree City and Old Bar were declared the winners of the matches at Wingham with Port City and Macleay Valley successful at Kempsey.

Other southern pool winners were Old Bar and Wingham (league tag); Forster-Tuncurry and Taree City (under 18s).

Northern winners were Port City and Port Macquarie (league tag); Wauchope and Port Macquarie (under 18s).

The two fields will be in operation on Saturday so the program can be finalised in time for the Forster-Tuncurry season launch that evening.

The draw is: noon league tag Forster-Tuncurry v Taree City (field 1), Old Bar v Wingham Tigers (F2); 12.40 under 18s Forster-Tuncurry v Taree City (F1), Old Bar v Wingham (F2), 1.30 first grade Forster-Tuncurry v Wingham (F1), Old Bar v Taree City (F2).

Sunday’s games will be at Port Macquarie Regional Stadium. The draw is 11am league tag Wauchope v Macleayy, 11.40 Port City v Port Macquarie), 12.30 under 18s Port City v Macleay, 1.20 Wauchope v Port Macquarie, 2.30 first grade Wauchope v Port Macquarie, 3.40 Port City v Macleay.
