TAREE Wildcats hope to continue preparations for the Football Mid North Coast Premier League season with a trial game against Medowie at Omaru Park tomorrow.

However, this will depend on a pitch inspection following rain this week, although clearing weather yesterday improved chances of the game going ahead.
The Wildcats have already played an FFA Cup match against Wallis Lake this month, winning the encounter 2-1. Taree’s second round opponent is yet to be determined. It is expected the match will be played within a month.
Coach Rod Bartley said first and reserve grades will trial tomorrow.
“The game against Wallis Lake was a good start and we didn’t get any injuries out of it,’’ Bartley said.
The Wildcats will also play a trial against Coffs Harbour before the start of the premier league on Saturday April 22. Taree will clash with Tucurry-Forster in the opening round.
Bartley said training numbers continue to be solid. The Wildcats were semi-finalists in both grades last season.
