We’ve watched the amazing touring set unfold and be assembled on our stage (no mean feat when it takes a sizable crew and two days construction to put together), and seen the actors strut and fret upon the stage in their realisation of Bram Stoker’s twisted classic.
You can be the first to see the touring production of the show that the Sydney Morning Herald is raving about, calling it “the hottest stage tickets of 2017” and you don’t have to go further than your local entertainment centre.
Dracula boasts pyrothchnics, flying harnesses and a host of modern flourishes that will really bring the production alive to modern audiences, yet there’s also room for some old fashioned sleight of hand that will have you gasping.

Lead actor Nick Subij not only plays the world’s most famous vampire, he also assisted into adapting the original story into the script.
This innovative young theatre company, shake and stir, specialise in producing adaptations of dark tales including 1984 and Animal Farm, so Dracula seemed like a logical progression. The critics couldn’t agree more, with high praise indeed flowing the company’s way for their version of this Gothic masterpiece.
Everything from five stars to this: “A triumph! It is always something of a razor’s edge dilemma to teeter between humour and melodrama and shake and stir get the balance just about perfectly. I hope this play tours throughout Australia, and beyond. It may well be the best thing that shake and stir has done,” from Weekend Notes. Two performances only, tomorrow (Thursday March 9) at 10.30am and 7.30pm. Don’t miss your chance to see the year’s best performance right on your doorstep when Dracula turns up for dinner.
