The event was held in hot conditions at Penrith. Clare did the 600m swim, Portia the 20km bike and Abbey the 4km run. They finished third in the all schools and first in the senior girls.
The girls have been determined to win an all schools medal for the past two years. They won silver in the government school’s section two years ago and were ecstatic at their podium finish this year.
