The next show in our 2017 season comes fresh from a hit run in Queensland, where shake and stir theatre company reside.
With the Sydney Morning Herald proclaiming the show as one of the best of the year, saying it was amongst “the hottest stage tickets of 2017”, you’d be mad to miss it.
We’re feeling very lucky to be the venue that kicks off the national tour of Dracula, and we’re hoping the whole town will make them feel very welcome by flocking to the Manning Entertainment Centre to see this gem of a show described as “A triumph” and rated five stars by Arts Hub.
It’s on Thursday March 9 at 10.30am and 7.30pm (for those who want to get into the swing of things and see it after dark).

This stunning spectacular brings history’s most beloved music to life with masterpieces of the Viennese court and the works of Johann Strauss II.
Enjoy selections from Bizet’s Carmen, The Sound of Music, The Merry Widow and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, along with haunting renditions of Irish favourites, a salute to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the romance of the Hungarian Gypsy Orchestras. This musical and visual spectacular is set to raise the roof!
Host, violinist Ian Cooper was commissioned to compose and perform at the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney Olympics - broadcast around the world to 2.85billion viewers. That’s as big as any Australian performer gets. And even with a smaller crowd, he goes the extra mile to keep everyone completely enthralled with his breathtaking violin prowess and wonderfully engaging personal style.
An Afternoon at the Proms performance repertoire includes Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, The Can-Can and Radetzky March. Also Amazing Grace and Highland Cathedral with the combined Pipe Band and orchestra. If it sounds like an amazing afternoon of top notch entertainment, that’s because it is.
