Contests will be held the first Sunday of the month. Surfers will meet at the Old Bar carpark at 6.45 to determine where the competition will be held.
Ryan Hunt is the defending club champion.
The club caters for surfers aged 14 and under through to the super masters (41 and over).
“We have a lot of gromments (under 14s) coming into the club this year and that’s exciting,’’ spokeswoman Kirby Byrne said.
The club will also conduct the Kev Lee Memorial contest in conjunction with the Old Bar Festival on the October long weekend while the annual camp will also be scheduled.
