A man and a woman have been charged following an incident at Taree yesterday.

About 11.10am (Tuesday, February 14), an officer from Manning/Great Lakes Local Area Command attempted to speak to a man in a car as he was speaking to a woman in Albert Lane.
Police will allege the woman fled on foot and the man did not stop the car when asked and continued to drive at the officer, narrowly missing him.
The man was stopped a short distance away and arrested. A search of the vehicle resulted in police locating cash and a console and game.
The woman was located in a nearby court and a search of her resulted in methylamphetamine and cash located.
The pair was taken to Taree Police Station.
The 33-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, goods in custody, and use weapon to avoid apprehension.
The 44-year-old woman was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, and goods in custody.
They were both refused bail, to appear at Taree Local Court today (Wednesday, February 15).
