Oxley Island Pony Club is inviting people to 'come and try' this Sunday, February 19.

OXLEY Island Pony Club’s Open Day is on this Sunday, February 19 from 9am. 

Located along Saltwater Road, Old Bar – the club is open to riders from as young as three up to 25.

Chief instructor Sharon Sowter said, “we pride ourselves on our club’s enthusiasm and strive to provide a fun and education experience at all levels of various disciplines such as show jumping, show riding, dressage, sporting and much more”. 

The day will be used for visitors to ‘come and try’, to have a look into the club and to meets it members and instructors. 

The open day will also be used to open the new amenties block which was made possible from a State government grant. Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead will attend to officially open the block from 10am. Oxley Island Pony Club is run by a group of dedicated families.
