Wingham RSL Sub-branch is conducting a remembrance/wreath laying service to pay respect to those involved in the HMAS Voyager/HMAS Melbourne collision.

The collision occurred on the night of February 10, 1964 approximately 20 miles off the coast of Jervis Bay, and resulted in the loss of 82 lives.
It was Australia’s worst naval peace time disaster.
The service will be held at 5pm at the Wingham Memorial Town Hall, and is open to everyone.
Returned servicemen are asked to where their medals.
After the service all are invited to the Wingham Memorial Services Club’s Workers Bar for all service and all ranks reunion from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
