MVCS's presentations of Geraldine Mullin's 'Tea and Tragedy' were applauded and enjoyed throughout the region last September, and our resident author and composer has collated yet another thrilling selection of songs for 2017, with a purpose written story that weaves and connects characters throughout the musical performance.
Utilising familiar Academy Award winning songs, the choir finds itself upon a cruise ship, with the usual mix of colourful characters and hilarious scenarios audiences have come to expect from the MVCS.
Pieces as old and diverse as 'The Continental' and 'Swinging on a Star' are joined by more contemporary Academy Award standards, such as 'Up Where We Belong' and 'My Heart Will Go On'.
With so may titles on offer, the collection is guaranteed to cater for all tastes and musical styles, with solos, duets, SATB and melodic chorus work all included.
MVCS invites singers and lovers of song to join us on our original and musically creative path this year.
You will be made most welcome!
