Hallidays Point
Celebrations start at Black Head Beach from 7am with a free sausage sizzle courtesy of Lions Club of Hallidays Point. The ceremony begins at 7.45am with flag raising, addresses by local Australia Day ambassador James Turner and presentation of Citizen of the Year award.
Harrington
Celebrations commence at 7am at the memorial hall with a free sausage sizzle courtesy of Lions Club of Harrington. Ceremony commences at 8am with flag raising, addresses and presentation of local awards.
Old Bar
Australia Day at Old Bar Public School starts from 7am with a free sausage sizzle courtesy of Old Bar Lions Club. The ceremony commences at 8am with flag raising and includes the presentation of the Old Bar Citizen of the Year Award.
Taree
Celebrations are held at Manning Entertainment Centre from 7.30am with a free barbecue and entertainment. The ceremony begins at 9am with Welcome to Country, flag placement, addresses, citizenship and public affirmation ceremonies and awards will be announced from the following categories: Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year and Ken McDonald Memorial Sportstar of the Year. Taree Gardens will celebrate with a free barbecue from noon.
Wingham
Celebrations commence at 7.30am at Wingham Central Park with free sausage sizzle courtesy of Rotary Club of Wingham. Ceremony commences at 8am.
Lansdowne
Celebrations begin at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club with a sausage sizzle which will be run by Lansdowne Rural Fire Brigade from 11am to 1pm followed by entertainment on the green in the afternoon.
