The match will be played at North Sydney Oval from 2pm.
Brown, 19, from Wingham, has joined the Renegades for the second season of the WBBL. The Renegades had a disappointing campaign last season but are tipped to be one of the improvers this year.
Brown is naturally looking forward to the challenge the WBBL will provide.
“It’s a really good opportunity to bowl at some of the girls who are the best in the world,” Brown told the Herald Sun.
“To really challenge yourself ... it just pumps you up. You’ve got to back yourself and just try your hardest.”
Maurirere stays with Ratz
JAKE Maurirere will again coach Manning Ratz in next season’s Lower North Coast Rugby Union competition.
Maurirere, who had the job for the first time this year, took the Ratz to the preliminary final.
However, he was sidelined by a knee injury that will require reconstruction surgery.
