This is hands-down the best time of year for lovers of  cinema. As the studios start their awards campaigns in earnest, Hollywood remembers adults still go to the movies occasionally. There's a lot to look forward to, from a pair of terrific films (Nocturnal  Animals, The Arrival) that prove Amy Adams  is one of the finest actresses of her generation to the performance (The Founder) that just might give Michael Keaton the Oscar everyone assumed he would win two years ago for Birdman. So with summer upon us already, we'd best get started.
