Taree Community Garden volunteer Bree Katsamangos says “Buzzy is busy” and the results of her pollination work in the garden means volunteers are needed to help weed, feed and harvest produce.
“Weed for a feed” is a motto of Taree Community Garden as it seeks to involve people in the care of its garden. Volunteers who attended the September working bee left the garden with freshly picked produce.
Bree says volunteers need to bring a hat, sunscreen, gloves, water and something for lunch. The working bee will run from 10am to 2pm with an induction for new gardeners at 9.30am.The garden entrance is opposite the Aldi carpark in Wynter Street.
