TAREE Leagues and Sports Club posted a profit for the first time since 2012, it was announced at the annual meeting.

They finished $50,000 in front, chairman Eddie Loftus told the meeting.
Mr Loftus said since 2012 the club has twice lost more than $100,000.
Last year the club lost $16,000, he said.
Mr Loftus added more than $90,000 was also spent on infrastructure at the club.
“We also increased our sponsorship to sporting and community groups,’’ Mr Loftus said.
He was returned for his second two year term as chairman. However, there was one change to the board, with Bob O’Mahony stepping down as deputy chairman. Mr O’Mahony remains on the board as a director. Stephen Dallas is a new director. Gilbert Hicks remains treasurer. Mr Hicks was also made a life member.
Merv Emerton is the new deputy chairman. Directors are Bob O’Mahony, Stephen Dallas, Gloria Payton, Lee Dodkin, Reg Ruprecht and Paul Blackstock.
