TAREE High School has inducted its Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2016/17, including its new school captains.

Taking on the role of captains is Quinn Patch and Cam Le Messurier and vice captains is Connor Armstrong and Ashlee Tate.
Speaking with the Times just minutes after the announcement, the four new captains said they would like to work on forming a stronger community within the school.
To do this, they want to create more opportunities for students from outside the SRC to take part in school involvement.
Other plans for the captains include focusing on the organisation of Spirit Day and the numerous charities they support through out the year.
During her speech executive principal Allison Alliston urged students to remember, ‘to listen to the student voice’.
“Congratulations, I wish you all success in the next 12 months,” she added.
SRC for 2016/17 are:
- Year seven: Sophie-Clare Croker, Amy Golden, Ned Hillyard and Jorden Klynsoon.
- Year eight: Kalani Cross, James Dumas, Beau Kircher, Kathleen McLeod, Samuel Moss, Drew Pensini, Faith Saunders and Zoe Stevens.
- Year nine: Harry Croker, Maxine Debreceny, Alice Heaslip, Izaac Lavandero, Madison McKenzie-Smith, Charlie Martin, Patrick Moses, Alex Slade and Hunter Willett.
- Year 10: Ebony Bridges, Taylah Clarke, Daniel Cocksedge, Riley Hunt, Xavier Hunt, Beth Kerville, Jacob Klump, Samuel O’Bryan, Nic Stepowikow, Tahni Walters, Sophie Watson and Monica Williams.
- Year 11: Connor Armstrong, Kirby Border, Josh Clarke, Josh Davis, Sampson Hillyard, Sean Hopkins, Banjo Hunt, Cam Le Messurier, Samantha Litjens, Quinn Patch, Rose Saunders and Ashlee Tate.
