Olivia Nelson, Melanie Walker, Chloe Berg and Ali Cleaver from Taree High School left their first exam, English paper one, feeling relieved.
They said the paper’s questions had been easier than their trials. “The theme for the paper is discovery, so it was easy to come up with ideas.” Olivia said.
The four girls agreed coming up with ideas wasn’t difficult, but actually writing them down was the hard part.
“You have to remember to relate everything back to the Board of Studies (BOS) rubric and your related texts,” added Olivia.
Chloe said she was happy with what she did, and confident she had remembered everything.
When asked if the girls would be going straight home to study, Melanie said, “I need to rest my hand first!”.
HSC exams will wrap up on Friday, November 4 with design and technology being the last exam.
