The two Captain Starlights smiles back on the faces of some sick kids and their families thanks to renewed funding from Greater Charitable Foundation.
During the visits, Captain Starlight, donning silver, light up shoes, used fun activities to help kids take their minds off being in hospital.
Marli Smith, 6, from Forster, was treated to some butterfly face painting and finger nail painting in the Starlight Salon.
Her sister Brooklyn also joined in the fun, getting some supersonic stars painted on her face too.
“We then got the kids to solve the Rubicks cube mystery of the universe before putting their story telling skills to work,” Captain Starlight said.
“We finished our visit with a sing along party before heading back to the rocket,” she said.
The Greater Charitable Foundation has provided Starlight Children’s Foundation with another $300,000 over two years for Captain Starlight visits to Taree and six other regional hospitals.
Captain Starlight will be back at the hospital for another visit before Christmas.
