Robertson first attended the great race when he was 18-years-old and he has been a further 17 times, including going the last five years straight.
He has never missed a race and finds it difficult to narrow them all down to a favourite.
“I can’t pick one out as the best because all of them are a challenge and they have to earn it to be victorious,” Robertson said.
“A lot of people don’t understand how hard it really is and the toll it takes on your body, you have to respect all of the drivers.”
Robertson is a Holden fan and he has predicted Craig Lowndes to win this weekend and equal Jim Richards as the second most successful person to go around the Bathurst track.
“Lowndes will win, he is our best driver and I think he will be too good this weekend.”
“He was best mates with Peter Brock and clearly his success has rubbed off on Lowndesy.”
Robertson has already booked tickets for next year’s Supercar race in Auckland New Zealand and the Phillip Island SuperSprint.
Similar to many other Bathurst fans, Peter Brock was Robertson’s favourite driver and he recalls one of his popular victories.
“It was a special moment when Peter Brock was doing burnouts on the final lap on his way towards victory.”
The Bathurst 1000 begins on Friday with the main race beginning early Sunday morning and Robertson will be glued to his television.
