The students, under the tutelage of teacher Sharon Hauser, had studied classical artists such as Monet, Picasso, and Van Gough.
Other classes came and toured the gallery throughout the day, looking at the art work done by the year four students throughout the term.
Students and visitors were even able to enjoy a tasty range of finger food, emphasising the art gallery opening vibe.
“The kids loved it, it’s been a really good experience for them,” Ms Hauser said.
