The first concert will be held at the Community Church, Oxley Street, Harrington on Sunday September 11.
The second concert will be at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Victoria Street, Taree on Sunday October 9.
Led by well-known Taree musician and teacher Pam Archer OAM, the choir's concert program will feature a range of well-known songs sure to appeal to the audience - songs associated with names such as Oklahoma, West Side Story, South Pacific, The Mikado, The Seekers, Eric Bogle, Dorothea Mackellar and Peter Allen to name a few.
The mixed choir, the ladies, the men and several soloists will all feature on the program, and the audience will be invited to sing along with the choir on a number of songs. Both concerts will start at 2pm and admission is $10. An afternoon tea will be available for a gold coin donation.
Over the past two years the Silver Tones Singers have played to packed houses, raising more than $5500 for local charities.
