Faith was recently chosen to play in the Gold Coast Indigenous Netball Carnival as a member of the Australian under 14s Indigenous team.
With the support of the Taree Netball Association, CJ’s Netball Club and her family, Faith sought to raise money so that she could attend the international carnival.
To support Faith, her grandfather Russell donated a painting to assist in raising funds.
Dundaloo Support Services subsequently purchased the painting, which was presented by Faith to the appreciative staff on Thursday afternoon, August 18.
Dundaloo CEO Shelly Sabey said the organisation was happy to help a young local athlete.
Faith thanked them for their support and said she was “privileged to get the opportunity” to travel for sport.
