Students from Taree, Forster, Wingham, Bulahdelah and Gloucester had the opportunity to view more than 60 stalls showcasing a variety of pathways available to them post-school.
The fully-booked exhibition included representatives from major universities, private and public colleges, job services, police and the defence force.
Jodie Bird, community liaison officer at Chatham High School, said the exhibition offered students an opportunity to be exposed to major educational institutions they might not otherwise have.
“It’s hugely important that our students in regional areas get to see the educational opportunities that are available to them,” Jodie said.
Parents were encouraged to attend the event as well, while the education wasn’t limited to those checking-out the stalls, with five high school students studying at TAFE undertaking their barista training as well.
