That’s the scenario leading into the clash of the top-of-the-table Group Three Rugby League sides on Sunday at Port Macquarie.
Bridge successfully had a headbutting charge downgraded when he appeared before the judiciary this week. He was sent off in the cusp of halftime in the match against Wauchope at Wingham. He was facing a five game ban. Bridge will now miss Wingham’s encounters against Port Macquarie and Port City.
Cudmore underwent knee reconstruction surgery this week after being injured against Port City a fortnight ago in what is a massive blow to Port’s chances of retaining the premiership. Cudmore, a hooker/halfback, was the Group Three player of the year in 2015.
In other games this weekend Old Bar travel to Tuncurry to take on Forster-Tuncurry on Saturday while on Sunday Taree City hosts Macleay Valley.
