At a recent meeting of Taree North Rotary Club members it was decided to investigate the feasibility of supplying sleeping bags to local Welfare Services for distribution to the homeless in the Manning Valley community.

The response received from the various service organisations was overwhelming.
As a result the club agreed to purchase 30 sleeping bags for immediate distribution.
With the help and generous support of BCF Taree the bags were purchased, received and have now been delivered.
Taree North Rotary Club holds a bookshed at the Hub markets each month and the funds raised through the book sales enables the Club to undertake projects of this nature which assist and support the local community.
