Jana’s exhibition outlines the intimate connections she has with the two geographical locations she calls home, the Great Lakes where she lives now and Banska Stiavnica Lakes in Slovakia where she grew up – both surrounded by lakes and a beautiful natural environment.
This connection with nature has inspired her work as she merges drawing, painting and printmaking with natural materials that have been collected from the local environment.
