A meal fit for a king on the side of the Manning River.
Wine, bread, antipasto, cheese, cakes, seafood and more laid out, shining scrumptiously in the sun.
It’s a sight the people of Taree will need to get used to come January 14, when the area around Queen Elizabeth Park comes alive for the inaugural TasteFest on Manning.
Organised by the Lions Club of Taree, in collaboration with the Civic HeArt project, the festival will showcase food in the Manning Valley as well as drawing in delicacies and food from a far. To support the growth and success of TasteFest GPB accountant Graham Brown has put $20,000 into the event as the major sponsorship partner.
“We at GBP’s believe TasteFest will be a brilliant drawcard for the area,” said Graham Brown.
“We have previously sponsored the New Year’s Eve fireworks and now this has been taken over by council, we needed an event to become involved with. We have a firm philosophy of giving back to the community that supports our business so well.”
