Under 15s
Coach: Mandy Moscatt . Manager: Jessikah Bridges
Taree under 15s will be hoping to build on the impressive result they achieved at State Age Championships last year. After winning their division, the under 15s have been graded up a level where they will play against teams of a higher standard. The team remains unchanged from 2015 and in preparation for this year’s championships the girls have been challenged by their coach Mandy Moscatt when she registered them into the Taree A-grade competition on a Monday nights, where they played against more experienced teams. Over the course of the competition the girls have improved greatly.
The team has also attended various carnivals and it was during these where some key players sustained serious injuries. But in the last week the team has returned to full strength and are definitely ready for the challenge ahead. Representing players are defenders Lillian Smith, Hunter Willett and Mia Lyons, in the mid court Georgie Stephens, Thalia Simmons, Logan Towers and Paris Sharpe, and shooters Kirsten Moscatt, Karlee Latham and Ebony Bridges.
