Tonight violin virtuoso Attilla Sautov will join German pianist Oleg Poliansky to present a classical performance at St John’s Anglican Church in Taree.

Sautov has lived in Australia for 10 years following a successful solo career in over 40 countries. The Taree concert will precede an extensive tour of NSW and regional Queensland.
Sautov last performed in Taree in March with a solo unaccompanied recital. Tonight Sautov and Poliansky will perform masterful duets including Massenet’s ‘Meditation’ from the Opera Thais, plus works by Bach, Handel, Gluck, Mozart, Paganini, Bazzini, Brahms and Kriesler. Poliansky will also showcase solo piano pieces by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky, plus one of Beethoven’s most popular compositions, the Moonlight Sonata.
The June 30 performance will begin at 7pm.
