COMMENTS made on social media by some Central Coast players have fired up East Coast Dolphins leading into tomorrow’s Country Rugby League women’s league tag final at Cessnock.

The match was originally set down for Wollongong in May but was postponed because of torrential rain.
Dolphins coach Scott Jacklin claims that some Central Coast players posted comments on social media after their semi-final win indicating they believed the final was there’s for the taking. Jacklin said his players are now keen to prove them wrong.
There will be two chances from the East Coast side that defeated Southern Stars in the semi-finals. Jenna Rowsell remains sidelined with a hand injury. The 16th player, Ashleigh Green will take her spot. Wauchope’s Nat Hurrell has also been forced out through injury and her place will go to Port City’s Rhiannon Chivers.
The Dolphins trained last Friday and Sunday and will had a further run on Wednesday night. Jacklin said the protracted break hasn’t been a problem.
“Everyone’s still keen,’’ he said.
He maintains completions and field position will be the key to his side winning the inaugural Country championship. This would also make the team the first from the East Coast Region to be successful at this level. Forster-Tuncurry’s Kylie Hilder will captain the side
