CJ Minions scored seven goals during the round nine game bringing their total for the season to 10.
The girls are just seven years of age and have come such a long way since their very first game back in April.
Ella Currie, Tyler Knoke and Matilda Scott helped transition the ball through the mid-court to give our shooters Chanel Webber, Mackenzie Clarke and Kasey Jackson many opportunities to score their goals, with wonderful accuracy with their shooting.
Addison Hogan, Tayla Mathiske and Jessica Hogan all showed great improvement playing in the defensive positions, with many impressive intercepts and rebounds returning possession back to the Minions.
Coaches Helen Currie and Vanessa Hogan are extremely proud of the girls wonderful attitude to training and learning.
All players are showing great improvement each week and are developing a great love and understanding for netball.
In the last couple of weeks they have enjoyed being coached by one of CJ’s older teams, the Bluebirds who have been able to share their enjoyment and enthusiasm for netball with the Minions.
The Bluebirds team consists of seven players from the under 14 representative team who will represent Taree and District this weekend in division two at the State Age Championships.
