MANNING Valley Dressage and Hacking Club (MCDHC) has been selected by Dressage NSW and Equestrian NSW to host the NSW Regional Dressage Festival this weekend at Taree Showground.

This is a first for the club. The festival is a comprehensive dressage championship event that has attracted a large number and high calibre of competitors from all across the State, with some riders coming from Queensland. There will be 485 tests ridden in just two days with close to 200 horses arriving at the showground.
A number of national and State squad members will be competing over the two days, including MVDHC members Katina Smith, with her team of horses and para equestrian champion rider, Sui Watts.
A number of top level riders who will be in action include Lizzie Wilson-Fellows, Amanda Shoobridge, Grace Kay, Gordon Pratt and Robyne Smith..
The event also features the Equine, Farming and Lifestyle Expo.
Saturday evening, entertainment under lights kicking off at 5pm; featuring a light horse display, champions parade, followed by the dressage freestyles (dressage to music) and a long reining to music display.
Gates open both days from 8am, and the Saturday evening entertainment kicks off from 5pm.
