Manning River Orchid Society president Rob Wells said that this year’s show was of excellent quality.
The visiting judges from the New South Wales Orchid Society were very pleased with the plants presented for judging, although the unseasonal weather conditions have made the growing conditions difficult.
Hundreds of people flow annually through the Uniting Church Hall to view the Manning River Orchid Society's two-day show.
Grand champion orchid went to Mal Myers Paph ‘Gwenpur’ cross Fairianum Album ‘Hassee’, with reserve champion orchid going to Roy Difford’s Phal Painted Lady ‘Judith’ and best specimen orchid going to Michelle Chedzey’s Phal ‘Insigne’.
