Former Taree High student Tim Carr, 27, is one of five team members of Sleepyhead Studios, who have recently released the shoot ‘em up gaming app, Barking Irons.
The game enjoyed immediate success, shooting (no pun intended) to the position of number one new Australian game in its first week.
Drawing on the popularity of sling and shoot games like Angry Birds, Barking Irons is a 2D shooter which features a gun-toting hero bringing law to the wild west.
The game is the first released by Sleepyhead Studios, which is comprised of Tim and four fellow graduates from Sydney design and multimedia college the SAE Institute.
Tim said initial reactions to the game had been “really pleasing.”
“The comments and reviews from players have been really positive,” he said.
Barking Irons is available on both the Google and Apple app stores.
