However, only two are guaranteed places in the 12 to be named for the match, according to coach Rob Bartley.
All missed Taree's stunning 3-0 defeat of reigning premiers Port Saints last weekend at Omaru.
"We have to do the right thing by the players who were there last weekend,'' Bartley said.
He was due to finalise the team last night. However, he said earlier that only Sean Poli-Cini and Ricky Campbell would he in the 12. Bartley added that youngster Dan Berner would be one of the unlucky players from last week relegated to reserves.
"Dan did everything right but he probably lacks a bit of experience at the moment,'' Bartley said.
"He'll get that during the year, but Sean will come in for him this weekend.''
Bartley also warned that the Wildcats can't get too carried away with the win over Saints. He expects Rangers to be formidable, even though they're zero from two from the opening fortnight of the competition.
"Apparently they've had players away and they are usually slow starters,'' Bartley said.
He added the win was timely, breaking a 14 game losing streak for the first grade side that stretches back to the first round last year.
'We have to learn to win again,'' he said.
"When you're used to losing teams find a way to lose a tight game. If you're used to winning, you can usually find a way to win.''
Bartley added it is the club's intention to make Omaru Park a fortress this year.
"Obviously you want to win most of your games at home and if you do that you're on the way to the semi-finals,'' he pointed out.
"We train there all the time and we enjoy the faster surface because it suits our structure.''
There were 32 players at the ground for two grades on Tuesday night, Bartley saying this shows there's optimism starting to return to the club. However, he cautioned that a poor showing tomorrow would quickly undo all the good work.
