FORMER Wingham cricketer Jonathon Craig-Dobson has just finished his second season with Sydney University Cricket Club and again has been an award recipient at the awards evening.

This year he won the most valuable all-rounder.
Craig-Dobson's statistics for the season were batting 276 runs at an average of 21.23 and bowling 37 wickets at an average of 18.92.
During the last two seasons Craig-Dobson has taken 81 wickets - the most in the club. Throughout the season he has progressed through the grades to second grade, the team not making the semi-finals so Craig-Dobson then played in third grade and was player of the match in the semi, scoring 46 not out and taking 4/39 off 12 overs. The team went on to win the grand final.
Craig-Dobson's passion for cricket has not changed since he played for Wingham, he loves the game and is a member of the Elite Athlete Cricket Program at Sydney University.
"The team spirit is one of the greatest aspects of the game,'' he said.
