Nearly 200 riders - including current and former Olympians, are expected to contest the event. This will include up to 60 from the Manning club.
Some events will be held at night, with the club’s committee meeting with the Manning River Agricultural and Horticultural Society this week to discuss details.
The festival will be supported by Dressage NSW and Equestrian Australia. It will include a trade show as well as competition.
Club president Valerie Brodin said hosting the festival is a great coup for the club and she added the competition will be a boost for the sport’s profile in the Manning. The club is one of the oldest established in Australia. It was formed in 1980.
Meanwhile the club will conduct a fun day hack show at the showground on Sunday May 15 from 8am.
There’ll be three rings in operation.
