The Sharks accounted for Wauchope 34-6 in the Battle of the Hastings played at Wauchope. Wingham edged out Old Bar 24-22 in front of a big crowd at Wingham while Taree City thrashed a disappointing Forster-Tuncurry 52-0 at the Jack Neal Oval. Port City were too strong for Macleay Valley, winning 34-22.
In reserve grade Wauchope downed Port Macquarie 28-16 while Wingham accounted for Old Bar 30-12. Macleay made it two wins from two starts when downing Port City 26-18 while Taree City beat Forster-Tuncurry 26-6.
Wingham Tigers opened their account in under 18s when beating Old Bar 24-18. This is the club's first win in the junior grade since 2014. In other matches Wauchope beat Port Macquarie 34-26, Macleay accounted for Port City 44-6 and Taree City were too strong for Forster-Tuncurry, winning 24-10.
League tag results saw Wauchope beat Port Macquarie 32-0, Old Bar down Wingham 48-4, Port City defeat Macleay 22-43 and Taree City account for Forster-Tuncurry 22-14.
In week three on Saturday Port City plays Wauchope while Old Bar will be at home for the first time this year when they host Taree City. On Sunday Wingham plays Forster-Tuncurry while Macleay Valley and Port Sharks meet at Verge Street Oval, Kempsey.
