Born and bred in California, he has performed thousands of shows from The Magic Castle in Hollywood to The Magic Circle in London, from grand ballrooms at the Beverly Hills Hilton to the historic Theatre-an-der-Wien in Vienna, from the Winter Gardens Opera House in Blackpool to the 800th Venice Carnival.
Along the way he has appeared on dozens of national and international television shows, seen by millions of viewers.
This year Jay is focussing on local and regional shows, and is bringing his high end sleight-of-hand magic to the Manning Entertainment Centre on Saturday, April 9.
"A magician is an artist who paints upon the canvas of the mind."
Starting at 7pm and lasting 90 minutes, Jay says this is a family friendly show, perfect for young and old alike. Delighted adults will get to be kids again, and kids will get to experience the wonder of what he calls a Shel Silverstein-like fantasy.
At 500 seats, the Manning Entertainment Centre is the perfect venue - small enough to be intimate, yet big enough for a true theatrical experience.
Jay has been living at Wherrol Flat for eight years, and is passionate about his adopted home and excited to be performing his show locally.
