Based on popular vote, her song Snowflake, has picked up the Vox Pop Fan Favourite award for the Holiday Song category.
Vox Pop voting began in March, when the 14th IMA nominees were announced, enabling music fans around the world to discover and support more than 400 nominated self-released and indie label music, video, and visual arts projects.
"Lots of people in Taree voted on this one so pretty special to have won," she said.
"Special thanks to Laura Zarb, Matt Zarb and Turn Around Music Studios for bringing this song to life so beautifully."
Earlier this year the songwriter relocated to Sydney from Taree with her family, but is still a regular visitor to the area.
This is the second award she has won for her Christmas ballad.
Snowflake also won the Christmas Songs category in the UK Songwriting Contest last year.
