Latrell Mitchell has been selected in the Sydney Roosters team, with Mitch Barnett to line up with the Canberra Raiders.
Mitchell, 18, plays fullback with the club's under 20s side.
He is yet to make his first grade debut with the Roosters but he is rated among the best prospects in the NRL.
He played with Taree Red Rovers and Taree City under 18s in Group Three before linking with the Roosters two years ago. Mitchell is a former Australian Schoolboys representative.
Barnett, from Wingham, is a second rower/prop. He played two first grade games with the Raiders in 2015 while he was named the VB Cup player of the year and represented NSW Residents.
The Nines starts tomorrow and will conclude on Sunday.
