Central Coast company Tower Clock Services replaced the refurbished clock faces and ensured it was operational.
The total cost of the project was $20,000 with the members of Taree RSL Sub-branch approving the works and contributing funding of $15,000 as part of its contribution to the Centenary Of Anzac.
The additional $5000 came from a grant from NSW Veterans Affairs.
The new mechanism is GPS controlled with all clock dials synchronised, meaning the clock will reset to the correct time when power returns after an outage.
This will also include changes to daylight saving time.
The work took slightly longer than the sub-branch anticipated but they voiced their satisfaction with the end result.
The RSL will conduct a rededication service at the clock at 11am on Wednesday February 10.
