On Sunday, February 7 at 10am the third 'Bullie Walk' will take place with around 12 owners expected to bring their bulldogs for a walk and play along the beach.
The walks are hosted by part owner of Taree's Oasis Kennels and registered Aussie Bulldog breeder Julia Muddle.
"We usually get around 12 people with bulldogs of all shapes and sizes there is the British, French, American, Aussies and the Southern Cross bulldogs," said Julia.
Julia warmly welcomed the recent changes to the off leash policy for dogs on Greater Taree City Council beaches including Old Bar Beach.
"We love the changes to the off leash policy," said Julia.
"Most people think bulldogs are lazy, well most Aussies I know like to run and play.
"It's great to let them enjoy the beach freely."
Julia believes bulldogs' popularity in the area is growing.
"Four years ago we had two local breeders, we now have three, plus more new ones getting started all the time," she said.
For those wishing to bring their bulldog along Julia asks that you remember "...all dogs need to be on a leash and to please carry poop bags."
