A packed theatre sent off the cast with rapturous applause after what had been a highly successful 14-show season at the Manning Entertainment Centre, which saw sell out crowds over the final weekend.
It was the culmination of a gruelling seven months of rehearsals, during which time the cast became like a family and made friendships for life.
Once the audience had left the theatre following the matinee performance, it was time to celebrate.
The cast, crew and other volunteers involved in the production came together for the wrap party, a time to reflect on the experience, celebrate and recognise the hard work of everyone involved and to spend time together for the last time before heading off on new adventures.
Among the presentations was the announcement of Taree Arts Council life membership to John Holme, a long-time member who has performed both on stage and worked behind the scenes.
The talented artist created some stunning backdrops for Mary Poppins.
Elizabeth Hall, who played Mary Poppins, was awarded the David White Memorial Award for the second time.
She had received the award in 2013 following her involvement in the Cabaret production as both a cast member and as co-choreographer.
