Cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops along the main street will also be open to cater for the large number of people expected to attend.
"It will be a great social atmosphere," said Night Bazaar committee member Catherine Calvin.
"It's the type of event where you invite your friends and family to come along, and spend time socialising and catching up."
The event will also light up the street, with solar fairy lights set to feature along the street and stalls. This festive atmosphere will filter down through Centerpoint Arcade where The Photography Hub and Manning Valley Business Chamber have collaborated to create a Santa photo "cave".
Inside the arcade the newly renovated toilets will be the main toilet facilities available on the night.
The night will also mark the official opening of the new water feature using artist Russell Saunder's carved logs, within the arcade at 7pm. According to the Night Bazaar committee this type of revitalisation is what the bazaar and its partners Civic HeART and Tidy Up Taree are aiming to continue to do for Taree's centre. "We want people to come along, enjoy themselves, shop and see the difference that has been made in this street," Catherine said.
Shopping is at the top of the list for some attendees who have already told the committee they will be coming along to get their Christmas shopping done. Annette O'Rourke has curated the market stalls this year to be filled with "enormous variety".
Annette said there will be gourmet foods, plants, jewellery, candles, clothes, leather goods and more.
On top of that Taree Lions Club will have its chocolate wheel, and other groups and organisations will have information stalls.
To accommodate the vast amounts of people and parking issues that may occur, free buses will be available on the night.
Line-up to showcase local talent
PLENTY of entertainment will be on show at the Taree Night Bazaar with a fashion parade at 6.30pm, showcasing summer fashion from Iguana Surfwear outside the store.
Wingham circus group Circartus will be walking on stilts around the street throughout the duration of the event.
2BOB'S Rosie Smith has co-ordinated a music line-up filled with infectious local acts, that has been sponsored by Wiseberry Real Estate.
In charge of the sound will be Aurora Show FX, who will have a stage set up outside Bing Lee.
According to Rosie the boys behind Aurora Show FX really work hard in the community, and it is great to have them on board for another community event.
There will be a rotating buskers spot featuring:
o Kymren McDougall (saxophonist)
o Zenith (youth band)
o Ash Hamer (soloist)
o Phillipino dancers
Main stage:
