Listeners can tune in to 104.7FM from 4pm to 8pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 20, 21 and 22 and catch a live feed from the festival.
The festival began in 2008 in unique circumstances. A large storm cut off two of the three roads into Mullumbimby and the power went out everywhere except the street the festival was held.
This year's line-up features many artists that 2BOB listeners would be familiar with including Robert Forster (from The Go Betweens), Ron Sexsmith, Ben Ottewell (from Gomez), Cheap Fakes, Suzannah Espie, The Mid North and Fred Smith.
Fans of the Roots and Reggae show will enjoy New Zealand's Cornerstone Roots and Hat Fitz and Cara will entertain fans of the Blues Show. Listeners of The Other Window will love Germany's prepared pianist Hauschka perform and folks that tune in for Vintage Viewpoint or the Killabakh Country show will be thrilled by Loretta Miller singing the music of Patsy Cline.
2BOB program changes
THURSDAY nights change on 2BOB from December 3 when Lambshanks with Dan begins from 9-10pm. The show will feature a different take on the ever expanding genre of electronica and follows 2BOB's home of Australian music, the Terra Australis show.
It is that time of the year again when everyone succumbs to having an end of year party and 2BOB is proudly not bucking that trend.
2BOB supporters are invited to attend and join presenters and staff for the 2BOB Christmas party revelry on Friday December 18. Expect a good time and a special live surprise from 2BOB's Big Backyard. More details to come.
