The annual display provides an opportunity for the wider community to see the fruits of many months of hard work by the dedicated students.
The display is to be held at the Manning Regional Art Gallery in Macquarie Street, Taree from 10am to 4pm Wednesday November 25 through to Saturday November 28, and conclude with the presentation of awards on Sunday November 29 at 3.30pm.
Students' work from local high schools from Gloucester, Bulahdelah, Tuncurry-Forster, Taree and Wingham will be featured in the display which is open to the public.
With a proud 24-year history, the display is organised and run by the local group of dedicated technology teachers from public and private high schools.
Some of the HSC projects included in the display can go on to be chosen for the Design-TECH State exhibitions to be held during 2016 in Sydney, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour.
Students' work from years seven to 12 will be on display, encompassing many and varied innovative and imaginative projects. Major prizes will be awarded to the winners of many categories, including junior mandatory technology through to senior design and technology subjects. Projects will include areas of wood working, metal working, design, engineering, graphics, electronics, furniture, textiles and many more.
Each year there is a 'People's Choice Award' presented to the student whose project is deemed to be the best by the general viewing public. The process will be to fill out a 'best project ticket' when visiting the display and enter it into the collection box at the display.
Drop in and have a look at the wonderful work created which is on display just across the road from the Taree RTA office.
