The divisons meets every second Monday, commencing at 6.30pm.
St John Manning Division provides event health services coverage at the Taree, Nabiac, Wingham and Camden Haven Shows; also Relay-for-Life, Campdrafts, School Athletic Carnivals, and many other local events.
The initial requirement to become a member is to have a current Provide First Aid Certificate (or its equivalent).
As with any organisation dealing with children, you will have too apply for a working with children check, and also undergo a criminal record check (this is processed by St John as part of your application process).
After a six-month probationary period, members are provided extra ongoing clinical training in the field of pre-hospital care.
Health Care Professionals are most welcome to join St John.
We have a large number of such members within our organisation, and their skill set can be registered with St John to allow many skills to be used within the St John context. HCPs also act as clinical supervisors and coaches for other St John members.
As part of our ongoing member development, St John offers management training for our future leaders.
If you think that St John may offer you an opportunity, you should contact division member-in-charge Beth Marsden on 0431 312 515 or beth.marsden@one.stjohnnsw.com.au
