The 21-year-old, who plays Mary Poppins in Taree Arts Council's upcoming production of the same name, is doing something no other lead actress has done before at the Manning Entertainment Centre.
She is flying.
For the first time in Taree, during Mary Poppins, musical theatre audiences will be treated to the gravity defying sight of a character flying in and out of selected scenes.
Taree Arts Council has hired professional riggers to make it possible and Liz had her first practice run with the harness recently.
She is excited about the experience but said it "isn't without it's trials and tribulations wearing a harness and the bruises."
It's a good thing she doesn't have a problem with heights.
"I'm a bit of an adrenalin junkie actually. I love heights! I've been abseiling and climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
"It does get a little bit scary though. I don't think I'd be human if I didn't get scared.
"I do trust all the riggers."
